Pet Sitting and Dog Walking
KCC offers drop in pet sitting services for cats, small critters, birds, and even livestock such as horses, cattle, goats, and chickens, With a background in veterinary services we also specialize in medication services which can include oral meds as well as injectables such as insulin and B12 as well as Sub Q fluids. Since our canine friends require more constant care we do not offer drop in visits but instead offer boarding at our own home. We also offer drop in walking services if you have a family member or friend staying at your home but you would like a professional walk or training service a couple of times a day for some extra mental stimulation and exercise.
Our most popular services are pack walks, play days, and partner walks for our canine family members! So many pups live their lives in their home bubble with just a walk around their block once or twice a day. Getting your dog out with other dogs, in new neighborhoods, and on car rides that aren't just to the vet or groomers is great for their mental health and to help enrich their lives. 30 Minute Dog Walk (solo only) or Kitty Pet Sitting: $35
30 minutes for a decent dog outing or pet care service which can include all the needed care as long as its within a 30 minute period. This service is only offered for up to 2 animals at a time.
45 Minute Dog Walk or Pet Sitting: $47
Same as the 30 minute visit but extra time for the extra energetic dog or extra cuddly kitty! Yes, this can even include WALKING your kitty!
If you would like a pack or social outing, this is the minimum amount of time required.
60 Minute Dog Walk or Pet Sit: $60
Even more time for extra shenanigans! Have an extra active pup? Or a kitty who could sit on a lap all day if you let them? This is the service for you! Spoil your dog with an extra long adventure or maybe just some backyard ball time and snuggles. If you have a busy household with many animals and/or household chores our longest visit would suit your needs.
Half Day Dog Play: $63
Your pup will be picked up between 12-1 PM and returned between 5-6 PM. Between these hours your pup will get in plenty of playtime and romping with other, social pups. We will also incorporate a little bit of training and boundaries - balance is key! A little crate training and a PB kong or a chew will take place mid day to encourage some calmness and a quick rest. Your dog will get a minimum of 2.5-3 hours of physical playtime throughout their day. Physical AND mental exercise will take place during a half day of play.
Dog Boarding: $95/Night with pickup before noon the following day. $75/day for dogs under 20 pounds.
+$10-$20/day for dogs under 1 year
+$30/day to add on training (if available)
**This service is only available for dogs on our current roster who attend weekly pack walks or play days. Please contact us if you would like to add your dog to our weekly schedule and secure a boarding spot**
Dog boarding is all within Kelsey's home. This service includes at least 2, 30-60 minute walk/runs a days and at least one play session. We do not have a boarding facility so all dogs must be crate trained for safety. While most boarding facilities charge to add on walks, playtime, medication, kongs/puzzles, etc, all of this is included in the stay. Your pup will receive what they need for their physical health, mental health, AND medication needs, no extra "add ons". For this service your dog will be in a home with 2-5 other dogs, 2-3 cats, and multiple humans. Thus, basic commands and NO resource guarding is a must for the safety of all. Many pups are used to being the "only child" so this can be a very exciting environment for them. Thus, for new clients, a day stay trial and a walk or two with Kelsey to create a bond is a must before coming into our active home.
**If your dog does not know basic commands or if you would like a training refresher, you can add training onto this stay for an additional $30/day. This includes 2-3 personalized training sessions per day, a go home/homework sheet, and a brief go home overview on go home day**
Pack Walking: $47 - $60 PER DOG - 45 or 60 minutes only
KCC loves our pack walking clients! This is a wonderful service to work on neutrality with your dog. If your dog is reactive to humans, dogs, etc, having a pack to learn from is a great experience. It's also helpful for dogs who want to be "social" but aren't sure how to. Dogs can be social without the play aspect! Walking with and interacting with dogs without being expected to play or engage is great for the socially awkward pup. Not every dog is an extrovert who enjoys play groups or the dog park! Pack walks are great for the overly exuberant dog who needs to bring it down a notch, or the socially awkward pup who doesnt know how to greet other dogs. Pack walks usually start with one calm, neutral anchor dog and then we work up from there. Feel free to contact us if you feel like your dog could work on their social interactions!
